           To dress up or dressing up means decoration of a person's body. We can decorate ourselves with suitable and attractive costumes. Costumes indicate or show the interest & mood(nature) of a person. perfect and good looking dress enhance the beauty of our personality, give self confidence and happiness. We should always select our clothes according to the age, gender and height. 

         We can say that suitable costumes are the most important thing for better development of a person.

                   WEARING CLOTHES 

1-  Right Measurements and fine stitching are the two main things for our clothes. Such type of clothes are comfortable and good looking. We should avoid to wear very loose as well as tight fitting costumes because both are uncomfortable for us. 

2- We should maintain balance in our clothing and fashion. Never select old fashion dresses and also avoid to wear a dress just like a film star. 

3- The clothes which we wear on any occasion or in the party are not daily wears so always choose best quality function wear. On the other hand our daily wear clothes should be durable and easy to wash. 

             Qualities of Clothes 

1- Durability- We spend a lot of money for buying clothes so always buy durable clothes. It is the most important quality of any cloth. Generally terriline, terricott and dacron are very durable cloth materials. They are made from artificial or synthetic fibers. 

2- Capacity to absorb sweat- We should select our clothes according to the climate. India's climate is hot and cotton clothes are suitable for hot weather. They absorb sweat very quickly. If we wear terriline in summer it will not absorb sweat and we feel uncomfortable. 

3- Easy to wash- Regular use of clothes make them dirty and we need to wash our clothes time to time. We can wash some clothes at home easily but some clothes are very difficult to wash at home. We should buy a cloth which is easy to use and easy to wash. 

4- Skin friendly- Our body heat pass easily through some clothes while some clothes could not pass  our body heat. We should select our clothes according to the season. Cotton clothes are good for summers as it keep the body cool while woollen clothes keep the body warm in winter season. 

5- Shrinkage free- Some clothes are shrinked after wash and it becomes difficult to wear. To avoid this problem soak the clothes in water overnight before stitching. 

some important points about                  the selection of suitable costumes 

1- Age- Age is the most important factor for best selection of costumes. Dark and bright colours are good for children, girls and newly married women but such colours are not suitable for adults and old age persons. Light shades of all colours are best for adults and older ones. These colours give a grace to their personalities. 

2- Height- Height is another major factor in the selection of costumes. Horizontal strips, wide border and big flowers pattern costumes are suitable for good height persons while vertical strips, narrow border and small floral design are best for short height persons. 

3- Face cut- The shape and size of our faces are different from each other so we should wear perfect neck shape as per the shape of face. Persons whose faces are round in shape should select v-shape and square neck designs. Persons with oval shaped face may choose round neck designs. It goes well with their personalities.

4-Shoulders & Arms - Some people have wide shoulders and thick arms. Such people may wear fine fitting costumes. Persons with slender shoulder and thin arms should wear long sleeves with loose fitting.

5- Combination of costumes & colour-

Perfect combination of clothes makes our personalities attractive. Always wear perfect matching clothes. For example - silk blouse goes well with silk saree. Pink, orange and dark colours are suitable for fair complexion girls. Light yellow, light green and any other light colour is good for wheatish and dark complexion.
